Yucuatan Cheviche

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3/4 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 3/4 lb lobster
  • 3/4 lb orange roughy
  • 3/4 lb bay scallop
  • 3/4 lb halibut
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 red bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 3 habanero peppers, diced
  • 3 red onions, diced
  • 12 lemons, juiced
  • 12 limes, juiced

Recipe

  • 1 prepare all ingredients in a stainless mixing bowl.
  • 2 cover with the lemon & lime juice and marinade overnight or up to 24 hours.
  • 3 serve in a large margarita or martini glass with avocado slices & cilantro sprigs for garnish.
  • 4 can be eaten with tortilla chips or in individual margarita or martini glasses as a first course.
