Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped carrot
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 cups port wine
Recipe
- 1 combine all of the ingredients into a medium sized saucepan and over medium heat, bring to a boil.
- 2 continue to boil until the mixture thickens and reduces to about 1/2 cup, about 30 minutes.
- 3 strain through a fine mesh strainer and let cool.
- 4 use at room temperature.
