Swiss Corn Bake

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans sweet whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350*.
- 2 lightly grease 2-quart baking dish; set aside.
- 3 in large bowl stir together egg, corn, milk, onion, salt and pepper.
- 4 stir in 3/4 cup of the cheese.
- 5 spoon into prepared baking dish.
- 6 in medium bowl combine bread crumbs, butter and remaining 1/4 cup cheese.
- 7 sprinkle over corn mixture.
- 8 bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and the center jiggles slightly.
- 9 let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
