Ingredients
- 1/2 cup canned mackerel, drained
- 1 cup dry whole grain breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon brewer's yeast, optional
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350º f.
- 2 fetch a medium-sized bowl (not your dog food bowl fetch a clean one).
- 3 in a medium-size bowl, mash the mackerel with a fork into tiny pieces.
- 4 combine it with the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 5 drop mixture by ¼ teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
- 6 bake for 8 minutes.
- 7 cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
