Ingredients

• 1/2 cup canned mackerel, drained


• 1 cup dry whole grain breadcrumbs


• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil


• 1 egg, beaten


• 1/2 teaspoon brewer's yeast, optional

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350º f.


• 2 fetch a medium-sized bowl (not your dog food bowl – fetch a clean one).


• 3 in a medium-size bowl, mash the mackerel with a fork into tiny pieces.


• 4 combine it with the remaining ingredients and mix well.


• 5 drop mixture by ¼ teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.


• 6 bake for 8 minutes.


• 7 cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
