Whipping Cream Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 3/4-1 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Recipe
- 1 using a pastry blender, cut 1/2 cup butter into flour until mixture is crumbly.
- 2 add whipping cream, stirring just until dry ingredients are moist.
- 3 place dough on a lightly floured surface, and knead 3 or 4 times.
- 4 roll or pat dough to 3/4 inch thickness.
- 5 cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter; place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- 6 bake at 400 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
- 7 brush biscuits with melted butter.
- 8 serve warm.
