Yummy Party Bread

Ingredients

• 1 loaf unsliced round sourdough loaf
• 1 lb monterey jack cheese
• 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
• 1/2 cup chopped green onion
• 2 -3 teaspoons poppy seeds
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

• 1 cut the bread lengthwise and crosswise without cutting through the bottom crust.
• 2 insert cheese between cuts.
• 3 combine butter, onions, garlic powder and poppy seeds; drizzle over the bread.
• 4 wrap in foil; place on a backing sheet.
• 5 bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
• 6 uncover and bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
