Chocolate Zucchini Bars


Ingredients



  • Servings: 4

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 3/4 cups white sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup sour milk

  • 1 1/2 cups grated zucchini


Recipe



  • preheat oven to 325 degrees f (170 degrees c).

  • cream margarine, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla. beat well.

  • mix flour, salt, cocoa, and baking soda together. add dry ingredients to first mixture alternately with sour milk. fold in zucchini.

  • bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan for 35 minutes or until done. frost with a chocolate frosting.
