Ingredients
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup light corn syrup (karo brand)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 4 tablespoons soft salted butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 prepared pie crust, unbaked
- 2/3 cup pecans, halved
Recipe
- 1 mix the first 7 ingredients together thoroughly.
- 2 spread 2/3 cup pecan halves in an unbaked pie shell.
- 3 pour liquid mixture over pecans in pie shell.
- 4 bake 35-45 minutes in 325 f degree oven.
