Lemon Cheese Danishes

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 lemons, zest of
  • juice of half lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls, chilled until used

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl whisk together cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon extract,1 egg yolk.
  • 2 preheat oven to 375.
  • 3 spread 1 tsp of the cream cheese filling onto each triangle and fold in the 2 corners.
  • 4 brush the top with the egg and sprinkle top with some sugar.
  • 5 bake for about 11-14 minute.
