Mint Tea

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 7 tea bags
  • 7 mint sprigs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 quart boiling water
  • 3 1/4 cups water
  • 2 1/4 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed and undiluted
  • mint sprig

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 3 ingredients.
  • 2 pour boiling water over tea mixture; cover and let stand 30 minutes.
  • 3 remove tea bags and mint sprigs; discard.
  • 4 transfer tea to a large pitcher, and add 3 1/4 cup water, pineapple juice, and lemonade concentrate; stir well.
  • 5 serve over ice.
  • 6 garnish with mint sprigs, if desired.
