Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups seedless raspberry jam (*)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 2 in a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and oatmeal.
- 3 cut in all but 2 tablespoons butter.
- 4 press 1/2 of flour mixture evenly into a greased 13x9" pan.
- 5 spread jam over batter in pan, then top with remaining flour mixture.
- 6 dot with 2 tablespoons butter and with chopped pecans.
- 7 bake for 20-25 minutes.
- 8 let cool completely, then cut into triangles.
- 9 *variation: use other types of jam such as strawberry, blueberry or apricot.
