Spiced Baked Custard

Ingredients

- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 cups low-fat milk
- 1/3 cup heat-stable granular sugar substitute
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325.
- 2 in a small bowl combine eggs, milk, sugar substitute, and vanilla. beat until combined.
- 3 place 4 6 ounce custard cups in a 2 quart square baking dish.
- 4 divide egg mixture among custard cups, then sprinkle with allspice.
- 5 fill baking dish around custard cups with water to a a depth of 1".
- 6 bake for 30-45 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center of each cup comes out clean.
- 7 remove cups from water.
- 8 cool slightly on a rack before serving.
