Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup finely crushed yellow corn chips
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- cheese slice
- hamburger bun
- lettuce leaf (or shredded)
- tomato, slices
- salsa (optional)
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl, combine taco seasoning ingredients; set aside.
- 2 crumble burger in a large mixing bowl, sprinkle taco seasonings over the meat, mix in with hands, let rest 15-30 minutes (melding of the flavors!).
- 3 when that has perfumed the air sufficiently, add the corn chips and egg; mix well, then shape into six patties.
- 4 broil or grill burgers, juices run clear, 160* on a meat thermometer.
- 5 add a slice of cheese right before removing from heat.
- 6 serve on buns with lettuce, tomato and salsa (if desired).
