Chocolate Fudge Cake

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 ounces chocolate, chopped
  • 6 tablespoons butter, cut in tablespoons
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325*f.
  • 2 melt the chocolate in a medium saucepan over very low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • 3 cream the butter until smooth; slowly add the melted chocolate until blended.
  • 4 add the eggs, one at a time, blending well after each addition.
  • 5 add the sugar, then the flour.
  • 6 lightly grease a 9x11" baking pan; pour in the batter and smooth the top.
  • 7 bake for 25-30 minutes; do not overbake.
  • 8 cool slightly in the pan before inverting.
  • 9 serve with fresh berries and whipped cream, or sliced bananas and caramel sauce.
