Zesty Texas Potato Wedges

Ingredients

- 6 large potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 slice unpeeled potatoes into wedges (12-14 per potato).
- 2 in a shallow dish, beat together egg and milk.
- 3 in another shallow dish, combine flour and seasonings.
- 4 dip potato wedges into milk mixture, then dust with flour mixture.
- 5 place in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet.
- 6 drizzle with oil.
- 7 bake at 450° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
