Kielke

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients together to make a stiff dough.
  • 2 knead well.
  • 3 roll dough out very thin.
  • 4 flour both sides of dough.
  • 5 cut in half and form two rolls.
  • 6 cut off narrow strips.
  • 7 cook for a few minutes in a large pot of boiling water.
  • 8 traditionally served with hot cream gravy made with 1/2 cup cream and 1-2 tablespoons melted butter and a pinch of salt.
