Lasagna

Ingredients

- 8 ounces pacakge lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 teaspoon season salt
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 (29 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (1 1/2 ounce) package spaghetti sauce mix
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- mozzarella cheese, slices
- cottage cheese
- 1 (2 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms
Recipe
- 1 brown meat and drain.
- 2 add salt, garlic and pepper to taste.
- 3 cook slowly uncovered 10 minutes.
- 4 stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix and mushrooms.
- 5 cover and simmer 30 minutes.
- 6 meanwhile cook lasagna according to directions.
- 7 drain & rinse.
- 8 in a 8x12x2 baking dish, pour 1/3 of meat sauce.
- 9 cover with lasagna strips, then mozzarella and spoonfuls of cottage cheese.
- 10 repeat layers ending with meat sauce.
- 11 bake @ 350 until bubbly.
