- 1/2 lb softened butter (cut up)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons buttermilk
Recipe
- 1 add 2 sticks cut up softened butter to a mixing bowl.
- 2 beat until well beaten.
- 3 begin adding buttermilk slowly.
- 4 beat until fluffy.
- 5 scrape loose the first solid butter clinging to the bowl, then beat until there are no solid lumps in the whipped butter.
- 6 serve with my hot kentucky biscuits.
- 7 store unused portion in refrigerator, tempering and whipping before serving again.
