Lacy Oatmeal Crisps

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 corn syrup
- 1 cup quick oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Recipe
- 1 melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup together in medium saucepan.
- 2 bring to a boil and remove from heat.
- 3 add oats and flour, stirring until smooth.
- 4 line baking shets with parchment paper or greased aluminum foil.
- 5 drop mixture by 1 tsp, leaving room for spreading.
- 6 (they do spread a lot!).
- 7 bake at 375 for 5- 8 minutes, or until golden.
- 8 cool until set before removing from tray.
- 9 store in covered container in cool place for several weeks.
- 10 (if they last that long).
