Yankeedog's Bbq Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
• 1 cup vinegar
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/2 cup brown mustard
• 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
• 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1/2 cup minced onion
• 1 teaspoon garlic granules (or 1 clove garlic,crushed,peeled,and minced)
• 2 teaspoons black pepper
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon tabasco sauce
• 1 tablespoon liquid smoke (optional)

Recipe

• 1 combine all ingredients in large non-reactive saucepan;blend well.
• 2 bring to a quick boil,then reduce heat and simmer,uncovered,for 15 mins,stirring frequently.
• 3 may be served warm or cold.
• 4 store in a jar in the refrigerator.
