Low Fat Vegan Banana Bread

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons flax seed meal (ground in the blender)
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 mix first six ingredients well.
  • 2 mix next four ingredients in a separate large bowl.
  • 3 add dry mixture to wet mixture and stir well.
  • 4 pour into a sprayed loaf pan.
  • 5 bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
