- 3/4 cup smoked sausage
- 2 celery ribs, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce) package split peas
- 2 (16 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen chopped onions
- 3 carrots
- 1 bay leaf
Recipe
- 1 brown sausage in small skillet until browned, drain well.
- 2 combine sausage & remaining ingredients in slow cooker.
- 3 cover and cook on low 5 hours or until peas are tender.
- 4 turn off heat.
- 5 let stand 15 minutes to thicken.
