Sweet And Sour Cabbage

Ingredients

- 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 small onion, diced
Recipe
- 1 add shredded cabbage to boiling water, cover and boil about 15 minutes until crisp tender, drain.
- 2 fry bacon until crisp, crumble and reserve 1 tbsp drippings.
- 3 stir in brown sugar, water, salt pepper and onion.
- 4 cook until thick, add to cabbage and stir in bacon.
