Sweet And Sour Green Beans

Ingredients

- 2 lbs cut green beans
- 2 slices bacon, cubed
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
Recipe
- 1 in a large pot on medium heat cook beans in boiling water until crisp tender.
- 2 drain beans.
- 3 fry bacon until crisp and remove all but 2 tbsps of fat from the pan.
- 4 add onion and saute for 5 minutes.
- 5 make a thin paste of 1 tbsp flour and 1/4 cup water.
- 6 add flour paste, vinegar, sugar, bacon and onions to pan and cook until thickened.
- 7 pour over beans and toss.
- 8 cover and heat thoroughly.
