Ingredients
- 1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch chips
- 1 (5 ounce) package chow mein noodles
- 1 -2 cup peanuts (optional) or 1 -2 cup cashews (optional)
Recipe
- 1 in the top of a double broiler, melt butterscotch chips over boiling water at low heat.
- 2 stir occasionally until all melted.
- 3 remove from heat and stir quickly to prevent sticking.
- 4 mix in chow mein noodles and nuts.
- 5 drop by rounded teaspoons onto wax paper.
- 6 let stand until firm.
- 7 can be refrigerated.
