Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil (i use corn)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomatoes
- 14 1/2 ounces water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 melt butter and oil in skillet.
- 2 add flour and brown slowly.
- 3 do not burn and keep mixture spreadable.
- 4 after browning ,remove from heat to cool.
- 5 after cooling add tomatoes ,juices and water.
- 6 stir thoroughly.
- 7 return to heat stirring constantly untill mixture comes to a boil.
- 8 remove from heat,add salt , pepper and sugar.
- 9 stir and serve.
