Scallop Bisque

Cook Time: 30 mins


Ingredients



  • Servings: 4

  • 1 lb scallops, rinsed &chopped in 1/2 inch pieces

  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 clove garlic, very finely minced

  • 1 bay leaf


Recipe



  • 1 in med saucepan, sauté onion in melted butter until softened.

  • 2 blend flour into butter mixture and gradually add milk, stirring constantly.

  • 3 continue cooking and stirring until thickened.

  • 4 add salt, pepper, garlic, bay leaf and scallops.

  • 5 cook over low heat 15 minutes.

  • 6 remove bay leaf and serve.
