Orange Lemonade

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange peel
  • water

Recipe

  • 1 in a saucepan, combine sugar and 2 ½ cups water; cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally; cool.
  • 2 add in juices and peels; stir.
  • 3 cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour; strain syrup; cover and refrigerate.
  • 4 to serve, fill glasses or pitcher with equal amounts of fruit syrup and water.
