- 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 7 large egg yolks
- 4 teaspoons finely grated key lime zest
- 2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup fresh key lime juice, strained
- whipped cream
Recipe
- 1 to make the crust, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 in a bowl, stir together the crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until evenly moistened.
- 3 pat the crumb mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom and all the way up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan or dish.
- 4 bake until the crust is firm, 5-7 minutes.
