- 1 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 eggs, separated
- 4 ounces squares melted chocolate
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 in one bowl, beat agg whites until stiff but not dry and set aside.
- 3 in another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- 4 add egg yolks and chocolate to butter mixture.
- 5 mix in flour.
- 6 add milk and vanilla.
- 7 fold in egg whites.
- 8 spread in a lightly greased 8-by-8-inch or 9-by-9-inch pan.
- 9 bake 30 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.
