Savory Smoked Gouda And Apple Tart

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, softened
- 3 1/2 ounces raisins
- 1 lb apple, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 6 ounces smoked gouda cheese, crumbled
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 grease and line with parchment a 9 in springform pan or loose bottomed flan pan.
- 3 sift together flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar.
- 4 stir in pecans, apples and raisins.
- 5 stir till combined.
- 6 beat eggs and add oil to them.
- 7 mix into dry ingredients.
- 8 incorporate fully.
- 9 put ½ of the mixture in the pan and flatten.
- 10 layer with gouda, then the other half of the mixture.
- 11 be sure to go all the way to the edges of the pan.
- 12 bake for 45 min or until golden brown and firm.
- 13 cool slightly, then serve warm.
