Tempered Rice With Coriander Leaves

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cups left-over cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 7 -8 curry leaves
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoons peanuts

Recipe

  • 1 de-stem the green chillies.
  • 2 chop finely.
  • 3 chop corriander leaves finely as well.
  • 4 heat oil in a pan.
  • 5 add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
  • 6 add chopped green chillies, turmeric powder and peanuts.
  • 7 saute well.
  • 8 add rice.
  • 9 season and miz well.
  • 10 serve hot garnished with chopped corriander leaves.
