Spanish Rice

Ingredients



  • Servings: 4

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning

  • 1 dash salt

  • 1/4 cup picante sauce

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup mexican blend cheese

  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped


Recipe



  • 1 bring water, salt and taco seasoning to a boil.

  • 2 add rice and cover. simmer for about 15 minutes.

  • 3 lay slices of turkey bacon between 2 paper towels and microwave for about 2 minutes or until just crispy.

  • 4 when the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed add the picante sause, sour cream, chopped turkey bacon, and cheese.

  • 5 mix well and serve. (you can reserve just a bit of the picante sause, sour cream, cheese, and bacon to use as garnish.).
