Low Fat Fettuccine Alfredo With Veggies

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 12 ounces pasta
  • 2 cups evaporated skim milk
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 2 cups vegetables, steamed (your choice, i add broccoli, and cauliflower, sometimes carrots. etc)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook pasta according to directions on package.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 place pasta in a large nonstick saute pan along with milk and garlic.
  • 4 bring to a simmer.
  • 5 stir frequently.
  • 6 add cheese.
  • 7 continue cooking until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
  • 8 stir in parsley, salt and pepper.
  • 9 add steamed veggies.
  • 10 enjoy!
