Low Fat Golden Apple Crisp Custard

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples (sliced)
  • 1/2 lemon, juice and zest of
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 3/4 cup egg substitute
  • 1 cup low-fat granola cereal

Recipe

  • 1 coat 10 inch pie pan with no-stick spray.
  • 2 in a large bowl, toss together apples, lemon rind, lemon juice and 1 t honey.
  • 3 spread in prepared dish.
  • 4 in same bowl, whisk together yogurt, egg substitute, and remaining 2 t honey.
  • 5 pour over the apples.
  • 6 sprinkle w/the granola, leaving a 1-inch rim around the edge.
  • 7 bake at 350f for 50 to 60 minute or until puffed and golden. serve warm.
