Killer Cranberry Scones

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup firm butter, cut in small pieces
- 3/4 cup cranberries, chopped if desired
- 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 1 cup buttermilk
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt with a fork.
- 2 cut in butter with a pastry blender until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
- 3 stir in cranberries, walnuts, and orange peel.
