- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, plus
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup key lime juice
- 1/4 cup water, plus
- 3 tablespoons water
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the 3 tablespoons of water.
- 2 in a small non-aluminum saucepan stir together the sugar, the lime juice and 1/4 cup of water. bring to a boil over moderate heat to dissolve the sugar.
- 3 stir in the cornstarch mixture and boil, stirring, for about 30 seconds or until the lime sauce thickens.
