Kielbasa Bean Soup

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans beef broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 large potato, peeled and diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 16 ounces kielbasa, thinly sliced
  • 2 (11 1/2 ounce) cans campbell's bean with bacon soup
  • black pepper, season to taste

Recipe

  • 1 in a kettle or dutch oven, add broth, water and vegetables.
  • 2 bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 3 add both cans of soup, and the sliced kielbasa.
  • 4 season with black pepper.
  • 5 heat through and serve.
  • 6 note: when adding carrots, i added 1 cup of sliced baby carrots, and i substituted hillshire farm smoked sausage for the kielbasa.
