Kheer

Total Time: 2 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 1 min

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup basmati rice (soaked overnight)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • some dried fruits (almond,raisins)

Recipe

  • 1 pour the milk in a boiling pan and bring to a boil then drain the rice and put it in the milk whisking it thorough out ,so that the rice does not stick together . cook on medium heat for about 45 minute.
  • 2 add sugar & cardamom powder to the mixture and put it in refrigerator for 4-5 hrs . serve chilled & sprinkle dry fruits before serving.
  • 3 if the mixture becomes very thick then add little milk.
