Kringla Swedish Wreaths

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- egg wash
Recipe
- 1 cream the butter and sugar and egg yolks.
- 2 blend in the flour.
- 3 gather the dough into a ball and chill.
- 4 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 5 break off small pieces and roll out a piece about 5 inches long and 1/3-inch thick.
- 6 form into a circle and twist or knot the ends.
- 7 continue until all the dough has been used.
- 8 brush each cookie with egg wash, sprinkle with additional sugar and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until just set, not browned.
