Krispies Scotchies

Ingredients

  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 6 ounces butterscotch chips

Recipe

  • 1 place cereal in large bowl.
  • 2 mix sugar and corn syrup in saucepan; bring to a boil.
  • 3 cook, stirring frequently, until sugar is melted; remove from heat.
  • 4 add peanut butter; blend thoroughly.
  • 5 pour over cereal; mix well.
  • 6 pour into greased 9x13-inch baking pan and spread evenly.
  • 7 melt chips in saucepan; mix well.
  • 8 spread on top.
  • 9 chill and then cut into squares.
