Lacy Oatmeal Crisps

Total Time: 23 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 85
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 corn syrup
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter, brown sugar and corn syrup together in medium saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  • 3 add oats and flour, stirring until smooth.
  • 4 line baking shets with parchment paper or greased aluminum foil.
  • 5 drop mixture by 1 tsp, leaving room for spreading.
  • 6 (they do spread a lot!).
  • 7 bake at 375 for 5- 8 minutes, or until golden.
  • 8 cool until set before removing from tray.
  • 9 store in covered container in cool place for several weeks.
  • 10 (if they last that long).
