Kugel

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 8 ounces broad egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cream-style cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 ounces crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups crushed frosted flakes

Recipe

  • 1 boil noodles and drain and place in a large bowl.
  • 2 add sour cream, cottage cheese, 1/2 stick of melted butter, vanilla, salt, pineapple with juice and raisins.
  • 3 add beaten egg yolks, mix after each addition.
  • 4 beat egg whites until stiff. fold gently into mixture.
  • 5 pour into "greased" baking dish.
  • 6 to make topping, melt butter and add cinammon and crushed flakes. mix and spread on pudding. bake at 350 for 40 - 50 minutes.
