- 8 ounces broad egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cream-style cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 ounces crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups crushed frosted flakes
Recipe
- 1 boil noodles and drain and place in a large bowl.
- 2 add sour cream, cottage cheese, 1/2 stick of melted butter, vanilla, salt, pineapple with juice and raisins.
- 3 add beaten egg yolks, mix after each addition.
- 4 beat egg whites until stiff. fold gently into mixture.
- 5 pour into "greased" baking dish.
- 6 to make topping, melt butter and add cinammon and crushed flakes. mix and spread on pudding. bake at 350 for 40 - 50 minutes.
