Ingredients

- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs, cream, and milk together.
- 2 add sugar.
- 3 sift baking powder, salt and flour and add to mixture to make a soft dough.
- 4 roll out on floured board.
- 5 cut into rectangles about 2 1/4 by 4 1/2 inches.
- 6 cut a slit in kuechla the long way.
- 7 flip one end through the slit.
- 8 drop into hot oil and fry like doughnuts.
- 9 drain on paper towels.
- 10 once cooled you can coat with sugar or powdered sugar.
