Lamb, Fetta And Spinach Gozleme

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 150 g ground lamb
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 1 pinch chili flakes
  • 4 tablespoons tomato juice
  • 50 g baby spinach leaves
  • 100 g feta, crumbled
  • olive oil, for frying
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat 1 tbpsn olive oil in frying pan and cook the lamb with a pinch of salt and pepper until browned.
  • 2 lower the heat and add the garlic, cumin, chili and tomato juice, cook for a minute or until dry and allow to cool.
  • 3 split the dough into four portions and roll each into a 30cm circle.
  • 4 place 1/4 of each fetta, mince, spinach on one half of each circle.
  • 5 fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
  • 6 preheat a large frying pan. brush one side of the gozleme with olive oil and cook that side down. repeat with the other side cooking until both sides are golden.
  • 7 eat!
