Lasagna Rolls

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 15 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 3 -4 cups spaghetti sauce

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef in saute pan.drain off fat.
  • 2 stir in onion and saute until translucent.
  • 3 mix egg, ricotta, parmesan, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper and 1 cup of mozzarella in bowl until well mixed.
  • 4 pour apprx 1 cup of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 9 x 13 in. baking dish.
  • 5 spread each lasagna noodle with apprx. 1 1/2 tbsp of the cheese mixture and 1 tbsp of the meat mixture.
  • 6 carefully roll up each noodle, starting at the short edge, jelly roll style.
  • 7 place carefully, seam side down, in sauced baking dish.
  • 8 continue filling and rolling noodles until pan is full. a 9 x 13 dish will hold 15 rolls.
  • 9 cover rolls with remaining sauce.
  • 10 top with remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  • 11 bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
