Lasagna Soup

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb bulk italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups small shell pasta (shells, elbows, etc.)
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup canned diced tomato, undrained
  • 3/4 cup roasted red pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 in large soup pot, brown beef& sausage with onion.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 cook pasta according to package directions.
  • 4 add pasta to pot along with all remaining ingredients.
  • 5 heat through, stirring occasionally.
  • 6 serve with garlic bread& salad, if desired.
