Lasagna Soup

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb bulk italian sausage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups small shell pasta (shells, elbows, etc.)
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomato soup
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup small curd cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup canned diced tomato, undrained
- 3/4 cup roasted red pepper, diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
Recipe
- 1 in large soup pot, brown beef& sausage with onion.
- 2 drain.
- 3 cook pasta according to package directions.
- 4 add pasta to pot along with all remaining ingredients.
- 5 heat through, stirring occasionally.
- 6 serve with garlic bread& salad, if desired.
