Surprise Raspberry Jam

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 cups chopped peeled fresh tomatoes
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages raspberry gelatin powder

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, combine the tomatoes, sugar and lemon juice.
  • 2 cook and stir over high heat until mixture comes to a boil.
  • 3 reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 25 minutes.

  • 5 skim off foam if necessary.
  • 6 stir in gelatin until completely dissolved.
