Easy Tamale Casserole

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen tamales
  • 2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans creamed corn
  • 8 ounces chilies
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 partially thaw tamales. slice in half lengthwise.
  • 2 arrange half of the tamales with the cut side up in a 13x9" baking pan.
  • 3 spread one can creamed corn and chiles on top.
  • 4 layer on remaining tamale halves, cut side down.
  • 5 pread with remaining can of creamed corn.
  • 6 bake at 350 until bubbly, about 30-40 minutes.
  • 7 sprinkle with cheese and return to oven until melted.
