Low Fat Low Sugar Chocolate Apple Snack Cake

Ingredients

- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 apple, chopped and peeled (1 cup)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 oven to 350°.
- 2 spray a square pan with nonstick spray, i used a glass pan.
- 3 combine first 5 ingredients in bowl.
- 4 in another bowl, combine water, oil, lemon juice, vanilla.
- 5 add to dry ingredients, stir until just combined.
- 6 toss apples with sugar and cinnamon, fold into batter.
- 7 pour into prepared pan.
- 8 bake for 30-35 minutes or until done.
